Our approach
We have been very happy to work with Chefs In Schools, Ark Schools chefs and our own School Council, to create menus that are healthy, nutritious and tasty! All of our food is cooked fresh in-house by our catering team and we are proud of the quality. We all recognise the absolute importance of healthy food for our children’s well-being and development and are committed to serving high-quality lunches every day. We have a meat-free day each week and fresh vegetables feature prominently on our 2-week rotating menu, available on the link below. Children can access jacket potatoes every day if required and a fresh salad bar is available during every lunchtime.
Ordering and payments
Lunches are provided free of charge for all of our children under the Mayor of London's Universal Free School Meal Scheme.
A vegetarian option is always available and the kitchen is able to cater for special dietary/medical needs if given advance notice – please contact the school office so we can help you organise this if necessary. For allergy reasons we are a nut-free school.
All children are encouraged to bring a healthy snack to school each day and are expected to have a water bottle from which they will be encouraged to drink water throughout the day.
We understand that a child’s birthday is a very special day, but due to allergies and our commitment to healthy eating we do not permit treats to be brought in, please respect this.
Breakfast club
Breakfast club runs from 08:00 - 08:30 daily at a cost of £3 per session. Children can get involved in a range of activities and receive a nutritionally balanced breakfast.
