We are committed to offering an education rooted in the best that has been thought and said so far, rich in knowledge, culture and vocabulary, and implemented in a nurturing environment that invests much in social and emotional capital, enabling all to thrive. Our aim is to achieve real equity and equality of opportunity for ALL pupils, thus equipping Franklin alumni to confidently and successfully navigate the world beyond our gates.
Fall seven; ARISE eight.
Excellent teaching and learning is at the heart of what we do, enabling every child to fulfil their potential. We are achieving brilliant things, last year our KS2 results were up 21% on the previous year and we have been the most popular school in Brent for the last four years.
Come join a team of creative individuals who constantly strive to deliver a curriculum that ensures our children succeed both academically and socially.
Ofsted, January 2020: ‘This is a school to be proud of. Leaders and staff provide a high-quality education for all their pupils. Leaders are mindful of staff well-being. Staff who spoke to us were all positive about leaders’ efforts to reduce workload.’
Visitors describe our children as, ‘charming, delightful, confident and independent learners.’
And our adults as, ‘passionate, inspirational, dedicated and inclusive.’
Pupils say, ‘I like how everyone is different and no one is rude about it.’ ‘I am challenged a lot and it is fun.’
While parents say, “Ark Franklin has a broad, rich curriculum, excellent teaching and caring staff. The facilities are brilliant and the community is strong and vibrant.”

Be a part of an active community
We know that learning doesn’t just happen inside the classroom, our community of pupils, staff and parents are committed to providing opportunities beyond the traditional classroom setting. Fundraising via our amazing community Fork to Fork Food Festival which sees some of London’s most talented and creative chefs, restaurateurs and producers come to Franklin for an afternoon of feasting, has enabled us to create our outdoor classroom situated in our amazing garden and playground space. As a staff member you would be part of fantastic initiatives like these that bring together our whole community.

Make a difference where it matters the most
Ark schools are always based in the communities where we can make the biggest difference to children’s lives. We take on some of the most challenging schools in the country. Many of our schools have a history of academic under-achievement or are in areas of economic disadvantage. We have more than ten years' experience of successfully transforming schools, building outstanding new schools and improving the life chances of some of the most disadvantaged young people in the country.
As a part of our schools' network, you’ll work with colleagues from different subjects, schools and cities, and have the chance to take on network-wide responsibilities such as leading programmes or training.
Ark Network Days
Three times a year, people working in specific roles or subject areas get together to share best practice and deepen their subject knowledge with peers from across the Ark network.
Have an impact far beyond your own school
If you want to be part of the effort to advance and improve education, join Ark. From creating and working with new curricula and teaching techniques, to collaborating with other schools and partners to share what works, we’re always aiming for system change. Through Ark Ventures, we incubate, launch and scale initiatives, such as Mathematics Mastery, English Mastery, Institute for Teaching and Ambition School Leadership, that address some of the most intractable issues in education and society – in the UK and around the world.
