Information for Parents
Twice during the academic year you will be invited to attend a parents' evening to meet your child’s class teacher, during which we will outline current learning and progress towards age related expectations, explaining how you can support your child’s learning at home. Dates for these meetings will be published in Franklin's newsletter.
You will also receive a written report annually.
From a child's first contact with us we recognise the importance of the parent-school partnership as key to our pupils's ongoing success and thus mine every opportutnity to communicate with parents; our parent handbook seeks to cover key aspects of your child's experience with us, please read it carefully and if you have any further questions do not hesitate to get in touch.

Parent View gives you the chance to tell us what you think about your child’s school.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. Ofsted will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.
By sharing your views, you’ll be helping Ark Franklin to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about our school, or view the results for any school in England.
